What is the factory edge angle and wax application on a new board?Updated 2 months ago

All our boards leave the factory with edges finished to an 89-degree angle. You’re free to tune them further based on your personal preference or specific riding conditions.

We also apply a layer of factory wax, so you're board is ready to ride straight away. We do recommend waxing and scraping your board after 1-3 days on the mountain, especially with our sintered bases for better wax absorption and performance. Be sure to apply wax evenly across all three base sections, and if you’re having it done at a shop, let them know about the 3BT shape to ensure proper treatment.

To keep your board fast and smooth, regular waxing throughout the season is key.
